Kathy lived an incredible life and leaves behind a living legacy of justice, community and care. So many of us are lucky to be a part of the vast constellation of community that Kathy wove throughout her life and we hope that you will join us to remember and to celebrate her.

Dr. Asif Wilson will present “Returning to the Source: Black Teachers Centering Justice for Black Students in Chicago Public Schools,” and discuss his research this summer, which utilized the Timuel D. Black Jr. collection at the Vivian G. Harsh Research Collection of Afro-American History and Literature. The talk will be IN-PERSON at the Carter G. Woodson Library:
