EMERGENCY!!! Suspend the Debates!

And if that sounds remotely reasonable, think of it as a dress rehearsal, a practice run, a prelude:

EMERGENCY!!! Suspend the Elections!

    Mr. Ayers,

Excuse the rhetoric and posturing of the less erudite posters. It’s obvious the right-wing echo chamber has clouded their cognitive faculties. We all have darker aspects of our personal history, but to use that to justify this kind of maliciousness is just asinine.

Frankly, these people are idiots and not worthy of your time and effort.

    Good luck to you, sir.

Surely the systematic slaughter of Native Americans is the worst act of terror that the US has experienced, or is that sufficiently in the past to now ignore? I don’t know the answer, but as a Gulf (1991) and Northern Ireland (1987-88) veteran, I do know we never learn from history, or it wouldn’t keep repeating itself…

Bill Ayers works has a touch of Paulo Freire to it; I often ask myself ‘what the purpose of life is?’, and I think being creative, striving for our dreams and reaching our best potential has to be somewhere in the answer…

Ayers, is following in the footsteps of Fromm and Maslow, educators of humanity.

Bottom line is that Bill Ayers is a better human being by far than his enemies.

The way sarah palin, hannity, et al. speak of Bill Ayers, it is my guess that most people think Bill Ayers is currently incarcerated, rather than living an exemplary life of contribution and pariticipation.

Keep up the good work! I know you did what you thought you had to do
to stop the unjust Vietnam War. I remember the Weathermen’s work
when I was in 8th grade. I always felt sympathetic toward your work
against the war that killed over 50,000 Americans and countless Vietnamese.

  5. Sounds like all the people shouting “Terrorist” at anyone involved in direct political action really need to consider the foundation of their country – one founded on radical action by liberal thinkers against an unjust government acting against the best interest of the people (we’re talking about the revolutionary war here, just to be clear.)

  6. Roar says:

I wish more people would learn about what you did in the 60s, not the bombings, but the feeling of moral indignation and that they would stand up against what is happening in our world today. It’s crazy.

  7. bcass2 says:

Bill ayers and his whore wife should wake up to a deafening explosion just long enough to hear the last sound they will hear in their life. I hope the explosion wipes out the whole family. That is the way Karma goes around. I just can’t wait to read that news one day.

  8. ILoveAmerica says:

You and your wife should be rotting in jail right now. Unfortunately you’re still able to jerk-off your radical scum everywhere. Go fuck yourself instead, Ayers. You don’t deserve to live.

  9. Steve says:

    Mr. Ayers,

I was at Kent State in May of 1970. Many who are posting hate and threats can’t possibly be doing so with any understanding of what the american culture and society was in the1960’s.

I later was drafted and serveid in VietNam. The carnage and immorality of that war was devastating to my young mind.
Thanks for all you did to bring it to an end!

    Steve

    Mr. Ayers,
Like many of the people who have posted on this website, I came to find out a little more about you.
Unlike many of the people who have posted on this website, I wanted to thank you for your years of service in your community.
I’ll say this: I wish we had more men like Bill Ayers in Michigan.
Please be safe in the next month (judging by the posts on here, I hope you have security). I wish you the best, and thank you for being a true American patriot!
After all, doesn’t a true patriot fight to preserve what’s best about his country–and not just follow its leaders blindly, unconcerned with right or wrong?
    Ashley
